Transfer listed striker Victor Hugo Montano is in advanced talks with Mexican club Toluca.
The Montpellier man has been told he is free to leave next month after he no longer figures in Rolland Courbis’ plans.
GFFN has been informed that the club remains highly interested in Wigan striker Andy Delort and that there has been contact with the player’s entourage, but due to rules about how many times he can play for different clubs in one season in France having left Tours to join Wigan, he would not be able to sign permanently with a French club, so he has claimed in a recent interview.
Whether or not this is truly the case, time will tell but it seems more likely that Montpellier might be constructing a deal for next summer already.
