Marseille president Vincent Labrune told RMC some interesting deals involving his club in the transfer market this afternoon.
Involving possible arrivals, the Frenchman told RMC that the club wanted to bring Sochaux right back Sebastien Corchia to the club and confirmed our reports that this was only on a loan deal. Labrune, however, has announced that the loan offer has been rejected by the fellow Ligue 1 side and so Marseille will not be returning for the player.
Jordan Ayew has already left the club on loan in order to join Sochaux, but the president told RMC that the club have already blocked two other high profile departures this market. Labrune claimed that Marseille have so far rejected a sizeable offer from the Premier League for Andre-Pierre Gignac and a €12 million offer from Napoli for Cameroon international Nicolas N’Koulou. It is understood that neither player wanted to leave the club. According to RMC, The unknown Premier League club was West Ham.
It is likely that interest continues to mount for these two players.
