West Ham and QPR make offers for Mathieu Valbuena

L’Equipe report this morning that Marseille attacking midfielder Mathieu Valbuena has been the subject of two concrete offers from West Ham United and QPR.

The player initially rejected West Ham’s interest several weeks ago, but after Valbuena failed to finalise a move with Dynamo Moscow, the Hammers have come back with a €7m offer, matching the amount that QPR have also offered.

The player would like a move to Spain, with Valencia remaining in talks. Sevilla couldn’t offer the player the correct wages, but he may now be willing to take a pay cut to make the move happen.
