According to French daily newspaper L’Equipe, David Trezeguet could retire from football tho summer. Having returned form his loan deal at Newell’s Old Boys to parent club River Plate, David Trezeguet was allegedly told by the clubs seniors that he does not have a future at the club.
Trezeguet will likely have his contract, which runs until December, terminated if he wants to find a new club. However, L’Equipe figure he may retire and call an end to a long career, which included a World Cup final appearance in 2006.
