Zidane’s 3 month suspension suspended

Zinedine Zidane has seen his 3 months suspension, handed down because he lacked the relevant coaching badges when managing Real Madrid’s reserves, has been suspended itself following an appeal from Real Madrid.

Madrid had seen their appeal rejected from the Spanish federation, but the Court of Arbitration for Sport listened to the appeal and took ‘suspensive action’ today in advance of a hearing on the issue. As a result, Zidane could be back in the dugout of Real Madrid’s reserves this weekend.
