Monaco police arrested sixteen people during the night between Friday to Saturday after an altercation between fans of both Monaco and Nice, according to Monegasque authorities today. All sixteen people were to be released without charge before the end of today.
On Friday night and into the early hours of Saturday morning, twenty masked Nice supporters attacked a group of fifteen Monaco fans, while the latter were celebrating the victory of Monaco to Nice (1-0) in a bar near the port Fontvieille. Three Monaco fans were injured, one seriously.
