A host of English clubs make enquiries for André Pierre Gignac

According to our colleagues at Hat Trick FR, a host of clubs have made enquiries for Marseille, soon out of contract striker André Pierre Gignac.

The L’Équipe journalist Romain Molina-led outlet understands that the Marseille man has received interest from Stoke, Aston Villa, Sunderland and Newcastle.

In the meantime, notorious agent Willie McKay continues to try to bring Ligue 1 players to West Ham United and QPR, with Gignac being an individual that McKay has supposedly earmarked.

The player’s contract situation is complicated, but Gignac might sign a new deal with Marseille this month if a promise is made that he is sold in the summer so that OM can recoup a transfer fee.
