Young 20 year old striker Alexandre Mendy is set to stay at Ligue 2 side Nîmes Olympique despite a serious lack of playing time at the club. There were rumours linking the Frenchman to Red Star and Strasbourg, but these potential moves have now fallen through.
Mendy’s managers was quoted in newspaper Midi-Libre as saying: ‘It (the move) will not happen. Alexandre has done good things in the last month and has decided to take up the challenge (of fighting for his spot).’
