André Ayew receives pre-contract offers from Wolfsburg and Dortmund

Marseille attacking midfielder André Ayew has received pre-contract offers from Wolfsburg and Dortmund, according to L’Équipe.

GFFN reported earlier last month that the player has received similar propositions from Everton and Newcastle United, but the club that Ayew really wants to join in England is Liverpool. According to today’s edition of the French newspaper, an agent recently contacted LFC on Ayew’s behalf, but the club told him that the Ghanaian international was not one of their priorities for the summer transfer window.

As for the Bundesliga sides, Wolfsburg and Dortmund are very keen, but there are some questions from the Ayew camp about whether both sides might be weakened in the next transfer window with possible high profile departures including Kevin de Bruyne and Mats Hummels respectively.

Napoli remain in contact with Abedi Pelé about a possible pre-contract deal. If there was any hope of Marseille holding on to the player, that can dissipate because OM have decidedly given up. At the time of writing, not a single contract extension offer has been given to Ayew.
