André Pierre Gignac edging closer to Dynamo Moscow move

Our very reliable colleagues Mediafoot OM have announced this morning that Marseille striker André Pierre Gignac has decided to join Russian Premier League side Dynamo Moscow at the end of the season, following on from initial GFFN reports from earlier this month.

Dynamo Moscow have followed the player for over two years now and tried to buy him outright in January for €2.5m, an offer that Marseille President Vincent Labrune rejected. Mathieu Valbuena’s appearance at the Stade Velodrome on February 28th to watch OM lose to Caen was not only a courtesy visit. Dynamo Moscow representatives are believed to have asked Valbuena to further their cause in terms of convincing APG to join them for free this summer.

The player has been offered a net salary per month of €300,000 with a huge signing-on bonus and after listening to propositions from England, Greece, Turkey and Italy, Gignac has decided to join his former teammate Valbuena in Moscow, unless another team approaches the player with a stunning proposal in the forthcoming weeks.
