Angers attacker arrested for assaulting his own baby

Angers attacker Jean-Pierre Nsamé has been taken into police custody for assaulting his own baby.

The 22 year old was arrested on Monday evening, according to Ouest France.

The player has admitted to the assault and remains in police custody. He risks up to 15 years in jail.

The alarm was first raised by a paediatrician who noticed signs of “shaken baby syndrome” on the baby in question. “He almost lost his eyesight as a result of the assault,” said a source close to the regional newspaper.
