According to 20 minutes, Getafe cannot complete the loan signing of Fernando Aristeguieta because they have gone over their budget.
GFFN cannot confirm these reports, but the most recent information is that a deal was complete and the player had passed a medical. A suspected reason for the breakdown is due to the salary cap introduced by the the Spanish football authorities this season and it is possible that this transfer would push Getafe over this cap.
The Venezuelan striker’s parent club is FC Nantes and he has been a player there since 2013 when he signed from Caracas FC, the most successful club in Venezuelan football history.
It is likely that Aristeguieta will be returning to Nantes for the remainder of the season but the future is unclear.
