According to our colleagues at France Football, Arsenal and Tottenham have made contacts regarding the signing of Dortmund attacker and former St Étienne man Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The PSG target was approached first by Arsenal according to the report, who cite claims from Bild that Arsenal have made a formal offer worth €40m.
Tottenham have now however followed in Arsenal’s wake, according to the report, making an initial approach as they seek to bolster their attack. Dortmund have offered the player a contract extension, but would prefer a move to England, according to the report.
Dortmund’s position is however that the player is indispensable. Time will tell.
