Arsène Wenger & Diego Simeone approached by PSG, according to L’Équipe

According to today’s edition of L’Équipe, Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger and Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone have been contacted by PSG about possibly taking over from Laurent Blanc at the end of the season.

Diego Simeone is also being targeted by Manchester City, according to the newspaper report, but while PSG haven’t totally abandoned the possibility of bringing Simeone in, but it appears unlikely that they will be able to land the Argentinian, especially as he is decidedly interested in signing the contract extension that he has been offered by his current outfit.

As for Arsène Wenger, the Frenchman has been sounded out by PSG representatives yet again and again he has rejected their interest. Following on from PSG’s emphatic Champions League heroics against Chelsea, Laurent Blanc is better positioned than ever before to retain his job for another season.
