Get French Football News can exclusively reveal that AS Monaco have entered into discussions with Braga over the permanent signing of central defender Wallace for the end of the season.
AS Monaco representatives have in the last two weeks held discussions with Braga over reaching an agreement for the player which is considerably below Wallace’s buy-out clause of €40m.
It is believed that Monaco will make a first formal offer next week for the player, with a Monaco representative indicating to us that they are hoping to do the deal around the €15m mark. Wallace joined Monaco on loan from the Portuguese outfit last summer.
In the meantime, it appears that AS Monaco are losing out on convincing captain Jérémy Toulalan to extend his stay, with Inter Milan having presented Toulalan with a pre-contract offer.
