PSG manager Laurent Blanc has said that there is a very strong possibility that PSG will not be able to sign any players until the close of the transfer window on Monday due to restrictions placed on the Parisian side by Financial Fair Play Rules.
Here is what Blanc had to say: ‘We can not do what we want because of financial fair play. We are very annoyed. The situation will not sort itself out by Monday. Unless there is a last minute surprise, it is very possible that we will continue with the current squad.’
Despite a below average season so far, PSG sit in 3rd place in Ligue 1, level on points with 2nd place Marseille and 4 points behind leaders Lyon. With Chelsea coming up in the Champions League, some additions to the squad would be welcome, but it looks like FFP will stop that from happening, at least for this transfer window.
