Hatem Ben Arfa is apparently this evening thinking about quitting football for good, according to his lawyer Jean-Jacques Bertrand, speaking to Infosport +.
The incredible revelation comes after a day full of bad news for the Frenchman. Nice’s appeal to the Administrative Tribunal over Ben Arfa’s eligibility was rejected out of hand, meaning that Ben Arfa would have to wait until next season to play for the club.
That news in turn meant that a clause in Ben Arfa’s contract with Nice, which allowed Nice to terminate the contract in the event that Ben Arfa was not allowed to play competitive matches, was activated, potentially leaving the winger without a club.
