Earlier today, Stade Brestois officially announced the termination of the contract of Tripy Makonda by mutual consent. The 24 year old full back had played 11 games for Brest this season, who currently sit 3rd in the Ligue 2 table.
It is believed that the Frenchman will now join Portuguese side Academica Coimbra, who are 16th in the top league of Portuguese football, on a free transfer.
