Claudio Beauvue will be allowed to leave Guingamp this summer

Guingamp manager Jocelyn Gourvennec has said that the club will allow star forward Claudio Beauvue to leave EAG in the summer transfer window once the 2014/15 season draws to a close.

Speaking to RMC after Guingamp 3-2 derby win over Lorient, Gourvennec said: ‘His future may lie elsewhere next season but, if it does, it will be very good news for him as he can go to play at the highest level.’

Beauvue has had a brilliant season for Guingamp so far, scoring 10 Ligue 1 goals to put himself behind only Lyon’s Lacazette and Marseille’s Gignac in the league wide scoring charts. There has been reported interest in his signature from the likes of St-Etienne and Lille.
