Crystal Palace to send delegation to AFCON to give Pape Souaré a medical

According to our colleagues at the Daily Mail and supported by indications in France, Premier League side Crystal Palace will send a delegation to Equatorial Guinea and thus the African Cup of Nations to give Lille full-back Pape Souaré a medical ahead of a possible €4.2m move.

It is unclear at the time of writing if Crystal Palace have yet to receive the final go ahead from Lille for the move, but a fee agreement has been reached for around €4.2m. It is thought that the player has agreed personal terms with the Premier League side to sign a 3.5 year deal.

While a provisional deal has been agreed, GFFN cannot confirm that the Lille board has given the final go-ahead for the sale.
