Speaking to our colleagues at Téléfoot, PSG’s mega summer signing David Luiz spoke about the heavily-awaited Champions League clash with his former side Chelsea.
“I had a fantastic relationship with everybody over there, with the club, with the fans who always supported me. It will be a big moment for me, but everybody knows that. I am a professional, I will do everything to win.”
“Chelsea are more balanced than last year, they also have a Hazard who has been very special this year. I hope he won’t be having a good day against us, maybe I even hope that he has a bad day against us because he is a player who can decide which way the game goes.”
On Chelsea being favourites…
“I don’t think so, at this level it is 50/50. Before the game everyone can say anything. It is like that. But it is on the pitch that you have to prove it.”
On the differences between Blanc and Mourinho…
“They are two different personalities, with the same mentality to win. Blanc is more calm.”
“This is an important moment in our season. The biggest moments are when you win the titles. I want to qualify. Doesn’t matter how. I want to qualify. And yes (I think we will).”
