Get French Football News can exclusively reveal that Auxerre, Troyes and Nantes have all made enquiries regarding SM Caen striker Mathieu Duhamel.
Duhamel, who spent the second half of the season on loan at Evian, has a contract until June 2016 with Caen.
The player fell out with manager Patrice Garande in the final month of 2014, prompting his departure to Evian.
With Evian now relegated and the player demanding a reasonably high salary vis-a-vis the clubs interested, initial approaches from Auxerre and Troyes have received cold responses.
FC Nantes have made a concrete approach for the player, who is interested in joining Les Canaris next season. Duhamel will meet with Caen representatives at the end of the season to confirm both parties’ desire to end their adventure together before considering future clubs. The player, at the time of writing, has no offers on the table.
