Get French Football News can exclusively reveal that French central defender Clevid Dikamona is in advanced talks with League Two side Dagenham & Redbridge.
The former French youth international underwent a trial with the League 2 side during a match against Crystal Palace, having also been in talks with another unnamed outfit from the same division.
Dagenham & Redbridge have decided that they liked what they saw and a deal was very close to completion this afternoon. More to follow, but Dikamona is finally set to get his dream of playing in England, several years after moves to the Championship fell through due to dodgy agent dealings.
