Get French Football News can exclusively reveal that Egyptian midfielder Omar Gaber is closing in on a move to Bordeaux.
Gaber, who has been on trial with Les Girondins since the beginning of the week, has largely impressed Bordeaux manager Willy Sagnol.
Sources tell us that Gaber has been impressed by the level of professionalism that Bordeaux have approached the player with and while there have been talks with several French and Belgian sides, Bordeaux are well ahead in the race.
The player’s agents Adel Saad and Claudio Vigorelli have arrived in France in order to set the wheels in motion for a possible deal between Bordeaux and Zamalek, as reported by our colleagues at Sud Ouest. Sources tell us that fee negotiations should not be an issue, Zamalek are willing to let the player go. Gaber to Bordeaux, things are certainly progressing.
