Marseille have reached an agreement with defender Facundo Roncaglia over a four year contract and have reached a deal in principle with Fiorentina for a transfer worth €2m.
The Serie A side have put the deal on hold however, according to RMC, because they need to find an appropriate replacement. The club’s manager also does not want the player to leave.
However, the player absolutely wants to join Marseille and with one year on his contract remaining, Fio’s directors want to complete the sale. The player is still on holiday following his Copa America exploits, but could finalise a deal with OM next week.
