FFF President calls Michel Platini suspension “unfair”

The President of the French Football Federation Noel Le Graet has denounced the FIFA Ethics Committee’s decision to suspend Michel Platini.

Speaking to RTL, Le Graet had the following to say:

“I think the decision is unfair and temporary, he was surprised and it takes nothing away from the fact that he has presented his candidacy to become the next FIFA President. He is more determined than ever to win this difficult fight. This committee is not all-powerful. Platini has done nothing. I remain convinced that he will be a candidate and that he will win… This suspension had nothing to do with guilt.”
