French players were not consulted over decision to sustain England match on Tuesday

FFF President Noël Le Graët has confirmed to RTL that the members of the French national team were not consulted concerning the decision to maintain Tuesday’s friendly against England at Wembley.

“I did not ask them the question: they play…. We will play on Tuesday at Wembley, there were hesitations, not from our side, France is standing, so is football.”

According to RMC, there are several members of the national team who are considering telling Didier Deschamps that they no longer want to participate in this French national team stint.

Didier Deschamps has informed the players that the match against England will be played and they have not raised any concerns.

A player told the media outlet the following regarding the series of terrorist attacks in Paris on Friday night:

“When we saw the pictures, we were panicking. We do not understand, nobody told us anything. It is total shock.”
