Gary Monk reaffirms Bafetimbi Gomis is not for sale

With speculation still continuing in this window about Bafetimbi Gomis, Swansea manager Gary Monk has once again spoken to the media about how the player will stay at the club. This comes after reports from the Daily Mail stating that Schalke, Borussia Dortmund and Arsenal are all interested in the French forward.

Monk had the following to say on the matter:

“Like I said speculation is speculation. I don’t worry myself with any of that. I just worry about making sure the players are prepared for the game coming up at the weekend. I can’t affect what goes on outside this club with what’s said in the papers and the media. It’s out of my hands, out of my control. What I can control is what we do here at the club and what the players do day in, day out. Bafetimbi works hard day in, day out. His commitment is there for myself to see and for his team-mates to see and my focus is on Bafe now for the rest of the season to produce his best football for us.”
