Gignac not in talks with Inter Milan

Marseille striker Andre-Pierre Gignac is currently set to be available on a free transfer at the end of the season as his contract is set to expire. The Frenchman is currently able to speak to foreign clubs and has been said to be talking to Inter Milan and Napoli, with Italian sources claiming that meetings between representatives had occurred. However, Gignac’s agent Jean-Christophe Cano has denied serious talks with Inter Milan in an interview with La Marsellaise:

“There have been ongoing talks. We are in a period of time in which we are told so many different things. All I can say is that I can not confirm any contact between us and Inter. We can no longer tell if what we are hearing is the truth or not. In the transfer market you must keep calm and make the right decision.”
