Nantes full-back Issa Cissokho has admitted he would love to make a move to England and discussed other possible destinations in an interview with Eurosport.
He had the following to say on possible moves abroad:
“England, I dream of that. The stadiums are full, the atmosphere is fantastic… It is another world. And I would like to discover it. Even in the game itself, everyone passes, everyone defends, everything moves quickly… Here, we play not to concede, in England, you play to win. I like that! It is truly a dream. Turkey have a league which is more and more attractive, we have seen Sneijder, Drogba or Sow go and play. As a muslim, it is a country that pleases me, too. I want close the door on anything.”
Then, on other clubs in Ligue 1:
“We will see what offers end up on the table. I am open to everything. Evidently, coming from the amateur game, I dream of playing in a top 4 French club. There were certain rumours about Marseille. It is a big team, the type that you don’t refuse. We will see what presents itself. To play for Lyon? Aly would die with laughter. Why not.”
