Premier League side West Ham United have opened talks to sign French defender and right-back Kévin Malcuit from Ligue 2 side Niort, according to our colleagues at RMC.
The 24 year old’s current deal runs out in 2016 and Niort have decided not to block the player’s departure. St Étienne and OGC Nice are also interested. It is understood that the Hammers have been in touch with the player’s entourage but also formally with Niort about a possible move.
