Lyon have signed U17 youngster Romain Escarpit from Aviron Bayonnais FC.
Born in 1998, Escarpit had scored seven goals and notched up seven assists in just eight games this season for his former team.
Tours, Toulouse, PSG and Monaco were among the interested parties.
