Premier League side Manchester United announced in an official statement last night that they would not be activating the buy-out clause in Radamel Falcao’s loan contract and that the Colombian had returned to Monaco.
The Ligue 1 side must now find a way of selling Falcao, who no longer corresponds to the current project. Valencia are a side that have held discussions with AS Monaco Vice President Vadim Vasilyev last week about possibly signing the player, according to a source at the latter club contacted by Get French Football News. The meeting from the Spanish side’s point of view concerned sounding out the price that Monaco are willing to sell the player for, nothing more at this stage.
More undoubtedly to follow in the coming weeks.
