In an interview with La Provence, Marseille President Vincent Labrune attempted to shut down Lyon attempts to sign OM central defender Nicolas N’Koulou.
The Cameroonian international is a player who Lyon President Jean Michel Aulas had recently admitted was someone “we have been following for a long time”.
Labrune, however, had the following to say on the matter:
“In the same way that PSG do not have the €100m to buy Lacazette, Lyon do not have the means to buy N’Koulou… Unfortunately for them! It is simply a debate among journalists who have nothing to report on at the moment. N’Koulou won’t go to Lyon, nor will he go anywhere else.”
