Marseille President slams team post-Braga match

Marseille President Vincent Labrune called the entirety of the OM team into their dressing room, with some of the them having already left for the bus 30 minutes after the end of their Europa League game against Braga in order to speak to them collectively, according to RMC.

The players could not have been expecting a particularly rosy address from their commander in chief, but what they received was, according to sources close to the dressing room, an absolute verbal bashing, with Labrune asking them to take responsibility for their horrendous spell which has not seen them win a match since the beginning of September.

One source said: “He brutalised them.”

Labrune then proceeded to speak with Michel for about 30 minutes, with both individuals leaving Braga at the same time. OM were delayed in their departure because of anti-doping tests on Romain Alessandrini and Lucas Silva, but Labrune made sure as to not speak to the media last night in any case.
