M’Baye Niang signs for Genoa

It has been confirmed that the French forward, M’Baye Niang, has officially signed for Genoa on loan from AC Milan.

After a reasonably successful loan spell at Montpellier where he has scored 4 goals in 19 games, Niang will make a return to Serie A after failing to make an impression in his first two years at the San Siro where he did not score once in 33 matches. The 20 year old has represented France at the U16 U17 and U21 levels scoring 4 goals for his country so far.

He will spend the rest of the season with Genoa where he will gain valuable Serie A experience before thinking about representing the Rossoneri next season.
