Monaco and Toulalan in contract extension talks

AS Monaco are in talks with current club captain Jeremy Toulalan over a contract extension. The Frenchman’s contract runs out at the end of the season, and ASM are keen to keep hold of the defensive midfielder, who is attracting reported interest from Malaga and Atletico Madrid.

The vice president of the Monaco, Vadim Vasilyev, has said that he hopes Toulalan will extend his contract, adding: ‘We hope to find an agreement soon with Toulalan. He is a very important player.’
