AS Monaco Vice President Vadim Vasilyev announced last week that, barring extraordinary circumstances, there would be no more sales of players during this summer transfer window.
That however doesn’t stop Monaco from potentially adding more talent to an already very exciting looking outfit. According to L’Équipe, Monaco have made a €15m bid for Sporting Lisbon’s central midfielder Adrien Silva, who has told members of his entourage that he is interested in the Monaco project.
Sporting Lisbon’s problem is since the big injury to William Carvalho, they cannot sell Silva, otherwise they would be severely lacking in numbers and talent in that midfield area. The Portuguese side are nonetheless said to be considering the offer at the time of writing.
