According to several reports, AS Monaco are closing in on the signing of striker Ivan Cavaleiro from SL Benfica.
An agreement between the two clubs has been reached totalling at about €15m. The player has reached a contractual agreement in principle, with the contours of a 5 year contract having already been drawn out, but some minor details still have to be agreed. In this case, it appears that Monaco have given up on Mattia Destro.
