Reports continue to surface that Newcastle United are trying to strike a late deal for Evian’s Danish international Daniel Wass. English paper, The Daily Mail and Italian source Calciomercato are both reporting that the Premier League club have made contact with Evian over a possible move.
According to Calciomercato, Serie A side Fiorentina met with Evian representatives on Saturday night over a possible move for attacking midfielder Daniel Wass. The Dane has been the standout player for relegation threatened Evian so far this season and Fiorentina are eager to get a deal done today.
Evian are known to be willing to sell Wass for the right price and have an agreement in place with the player that he can leave at the end of the season.
