No away fans in Ligue 1 or Ligue 2 until mid-December

The LFP have confirmed that the French Interior Ministry has issued an order for the banning of away fans for Ligue 1, Ligue 2, cup and European matches inside France until mid-December.

The decision has been made with the country in a state of emergency after the Paris attacks and because of a forthcoming climate summit in Paris.

As a result of the increased police presence in major French towns, the decision has been made simply because police do not have enough resources necessary for away fans to be properly protected and surveyed.
