Mexican side Tigres have announced the signing Frenchman André Pierre Gignac on a free transfer after his contract expired in Marseille.
The player is believed to have signed a three year deal worth €4m a year plus bonuses.
Gignac had the following to say about the move:
“Thank you to Marseille for allowing me to realise my childhood dream. I feel like I accomplished it. This club (Marseille) has allowed me to feel so much in terms of pride joy & emotions. It’s also why I’ve chosen my new club in Tigres to follow my passion, in a great country, Mexico and with an ambitious club.”
