OGC Nice closing in on Jean-Michaël Seri deal

OGC Nice are closing in on a deal to sign defensive midfielder Jean-Michaël Seri from Portuguese outfit Paços de Ferreira.

Having already reached a second provisional agreement for Hatem Ben Arfa, Nice have moved for Seri in a bid to replace the outgoing Didier Digard, whose contract expires at the end of the season.

According to sources contacted by Get French Football News, a provisional contract has already been agreed with the Ivorian for a four year deal. A fee agreement has yet to be reached however with the Portuguese outfit stalling in a bid to attract more interest. Nice want to close the deal for no more than €1.2m, but club sources have conceded that a deal at this price seems unlikely given the current state of negotiations.
