GFFN can confirm reports from our colleagues at M365 that Lyon have received an enquiry from Greek side Olympiakos regarding Bakary Koné.
The Sporting Directors of both clubs, Florian Maurice and Pierre Issa, have recently had discussions on the phone about the player.
Unfortunately, with the recent injuries to Milan Bisevac and Lindsay Rose, it is not certain that Lyon will want to sell the player. Talks are however ongoing, with Aulas conscious of Koné’s desire to leave the club if he is not given game time.
This will likely go down to the wire.
Olympiakos are also interested in Frenchman Michael Ciani, as another central defensive option. The player is currently at Lazio.
