According to our colleagues at L’Équipe, former France U21s international Paul Georges Ntep has visited Liverpool’s facilities at Melwood twice in the last 10 days between, once before and once after Rennes’ fixture last weekend against Montpellier, and Liverpool are now favourites to land the winger.
Liverpool scouts in recent weeks were very impressed with the player in recent months and Ntep has certainly reciprocated that.
His representatives formally deny the aforementioned claims, but the fact remains that the player visited Melwood last week Thursday and then again this week Tuesday.
Liverpool are now very much in pole position for the winger who has scored 9 goals and offered 6 assists in the league this season. With a contract until 2017, Ntep is certainly set to depart, but Stoke City have already made multiple offers for the player this season.
