According to the Sporting Director of Dutch outfit PSV Marcel Brands, PSG and Liverpool are leading the race to sign coveted youngster Memphis Depay.
Speaking to Fox Sports, Brands had the following to say:
“PSG and Liverpool are ahead of Manchester United in the race for Memphis. For the moment, United have only informed us of their interest in the player. But Bayern are not one of the teams that want to sign him. It is logical that there is such agitation surrounding Memphis. He is still a young player, but is already incredibly effective. He should be proud of that. Generally, is not much movement at this stage of the season. It is an exception that lots of clubs have already made their interest in him known. It shows him that he is on the right track.”
