PSG President hits back at Adrien Rabiot outburst

PSG President Nasser Al Khelaifi has reacted to young central midfielder Adrien Rabiot’s recent outburst in an interview with Le Figaro, when he expressed his desire to leave the club in January if his playing time deteriorates.

Al Khelaifi had the following to say:

“I was very disappointed, I said that to him. His words were unacceptable. I did not at all appreciate the fact that he claimed that a loan would be a Christmas present. It is a total lack of respect towards the club that grew him and that has done so much for him. At the age of 20, he plays regular in a big team. He comes from the youth academy, the club has given him a lot. I will never accept him thinking that he is more important than the club. The club will always be more important than any player.”
