PSG’s left-back situation: An Update

According to our colleagues at Canal Supporters, PSG have entered into discussions with AS Monaco left back Layvin Kurzawa’s agent concerning a possible move.

At the moment, it is unclear if PSG have formally approached Monaco, who are unlikely to be willing to sell one of their best players with the season having already begun.

PSG Sporting Director Olivier Létang has in the meantime held fresh talks with Lorient President Loic Fery about the possible signing of Raphael Guerreiro. PSG already had an offer rejected for the player in early June. Atletico Madrid are also after Guerreiro, having sounded out the player’s entourage.

PSG have also submitted a formal offer for Guilherme Siqueira to Atletico Madrid which is higher than that of Juventus, but the Serie A side are still ahead in the race and are close to agreeing a 4 year contract worth €2.5m a year net, according to Sky Italia.

Sources close to Lucas Digne have confirmed to Get French Football News that there is now a total agreement in place for the loan move of the Frenchman to AS Roma with an option to buy. The player is due to arrive in Rome tomorrow before penning his contract and undergoing a medical. AS Roma plan to present the player during their Open Day on August 14th, according to Sky Italia.
