According to our colleagues at Espoirs du Foot, Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg have had an offer accepted for Valenciennes’ French youth international Dayot Upamecano.
The player was interesting Arsenal, Manchester City and Manchester United, and is believed to have reached an agreement with the latter regarding personal terms, but the Red Devils have had bitter disagreements with VAFC over a fee agreement. The Citizens have also bid, but have not had an offer accepted. The player still prefers a move to England, but Gerard Houllier has in the last days attempted to entice him to Austria.
