In a fresh report from The Guardian, former Lyon boss Remi Garde has once again been linked with the Newcastle job.
Garde is currently without a club after leaving Lyon at the end of last season and GFFN confirmed that the man was on the Magpies’ shortlist.
GFFN has received indications today that Garde has now been contacted for the role, but we are seeking further confirmation.
